So i forgot i have a blog until today and yes its been a year and i'm not too good at this keeping up online with fb and andy now is twittering whatever that is and chasing baby boy who's about to be 2 ohmygosh where has the time gone, oh yes i know it flew by when we were sleeping, having fun, runnning around and living life. jacob has grown so much and he talks about all kinds of stuff now some things we just say oh yeah really wow! he knows what he's saying thats important, ha. we mostly chill at the house and have fun in our back yard. we've worked on our yard a lot the last few weeks and its really coming along. i should take a picture. jacob started swimming lessons today and he's very good already such a brave little boy! i love this picture of him blowing bubbles he loves bubbles almost as much as he loves his mommy and outside. :)

Jacob turned 1 on July 10th. He's "so big" as he loves to hold his hands up in the air and show everyone. He decided recently also that he's not a baby and will not be eating baby food and will hold his lips tight and slap the spoon if he suspects "baby" food. He wants to pick up things with his fingers and eat like a big boy. He held up his hand yesterday with a bunch of slobbery animal cracker on it and exclaimed "Gookie" He's the light of our lives and I cannot imagine mine without him. Our house is still pretty much a couch farm while we make plans for the gameroom addition hopefully to start in August sometime. We'll have everyone over for an official get together when its all done.

My how the time flies! Jacob is almost crawling he's doing a lot of rolling around right now. He's such a good baby. he loves us so much that he doesnt like to go to bed :) He says Mama, dada, nana, aaahhh for abby, eerrrr for earl, bye, and nana says he said no this week oh boy. we just bought a house near the dickersons and nana and papa dederick and hope to move in at the end of April. We will be selling our house sooner than later.

I couldnt have imagined how much fun Christmas could be with a baby but we had a blast. Its not about us anymore its all about Jacob! I loved watching him open his gifts and he loves the paper. He gave his big cookie monster a kiss that Santa brought him. We went to Emory the 2 days after Christmas and stayed here for Christmas Eve and day. It was so nice to get to spend time together. He loves rudolf the reindeer song just like his buddy Bryson.

Jacob is now 18lbs 13 oz and 29 inches tall! He's off the charts and we are so proud he's big and healthy. He started eating fruits and cereal its so funny to see him try to work his tongue. He's discovered he likes to chew on his thumb and the doctor says it will be not long before his teeth come in. We are snuggled up keeping warm tonight at home. ahhhhh i love it!

Jacob is a little over 3 months old now and he's getting so big! This picture is so funny Jerrod and Tracy gave him the Johnny Cash onesie and he loves it! I'm back at work now and I miss him so much. He's staying with Sarah and Ava and he loves playing with them! He's a very happy baby and we are so thankful!

Big Baby

We've called Jacob "big baby" since he was in my belly and he's living up to his name. He's now 15 pounds 8 oz :) He will stick out his tongue at you if you do it first and loves to kick and really gets exctied when i sing the ABC song to him. The picture is of him in my Grandads coveralls that he wore when he was a baby 70 or so years ago! Its a family tradition to wear the coveralls and get your picture made i had mine made in them too. Maybe i will find that picture at my moms and post it with this one.

Jacob is a very happy baby and we are so thankful. I will go back to work next week and i'm sad we wont be together every day.

Jacob Wilder

Jacob Wilder was born on July 10, 2008. He was 8lbs, 9 oz and 22 in. long. He's growing and changing every day. We love him soooo much and are so happy that he is here. I'm into teaching him lots of fun things and he will stick out his tongue if you stick yours out at him first. He's already had a haircut and we are working on getting him on a good nap/sleep schedule.

Baby Jacob

Baby Jacob is growing fast. We will see him again on June 5th at our next sono. This belly pic is a few weeks old at 30 weeks but you see my point baby is getting BIG! His Daddy suprised me on mothers day with a card saying his name could be Jacob Wilder we had discussed it and I loved it. I'm so happy he has a name! Jacob is a very active baby he moves around all the time. His room is almost ready for his arrival just a few things to finish up still.

We found out yesterday that we are having a baby BOY! The sonogram lady said she's 150% sure he's a he. We are so excited and probably going to do his room in a barnyard theme with cows and pigs that we love so much. We haven't decided for sure on a name we like Dane and Braden and a few others.... I hope that Andy gives in to his middle name being Kile :)

Our baby is doing good we hope to find out what he/she is next week. We can hardly wait! As soon as I get brave and nice and round I'll post the prego belly :) In the meantime keep us in your prayers. We are also starting baby room this month. I cant wait to see if it will be a barnyard or a pink and purple fest.

Fantasy footblah

If you are the wife or husband of a fantasy head you understand the torture of the season. Its all about who's team is beating who and who is talking too much smack and Sunday and Monday nights comsumed with calls and scores and yelling at the tv. I've threatened to have my own fantasy league but so far beth is the only one signed up and we havent had an official team meeting yet. Maybe I'll call my bunko league Fantasy Bunko and start talking trash to the other girls...who's in for that? :)

Our Dog

This is our son Earl. As most of you know he's fun and loud! He's really excited about his new bro/sis :) He loves to spend the night at his papa's and nana's house. He gets so excited he actually jumped in the car with them.

He also loves when his uncle grant comes to see him. He likes to watch poker and football on TV and barks when other dogs come on tv or monkeys :)
